The STEM-UP Department on the Utica Campus hosted its first annual Summer STEM Academic Integrated Learning Program June 6-17. The two-week program hosted juniors and seniors from local high schools with the intention of enhancing their knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

The Utica Campus of Hinds Community College will host its inaugural Vice President’s Scholarship and Hall of Honors Gala on Friday, March 25, at the Old Capitol Inn in Jackson, Miss. The event will serve as a fundraiser to assist students with financial need in attending college. All money raised will go to a scholarship fund designated solely for deserving Utica Campus students.

"The Visit" is an event held on the Utica Campus twice each semester that focuses on the recruitment of high school seniors. They tour and learn more about each program and even have the chance to get some hands-on experience in each department during their half-day here on campus. While covering the last visit, I took the opportunity to really put into perspective some of the things that I had the pleasure to photograph.
