This time of year, I hit the road to cover recruiting events at our Hinds CC campuses. It's a highlight of my spring semester schedule to get to meet so many excited high school junior and seniors, as well as adult prospective students. In this post I will share photos from the events this semester to give you a sneak peek of the adventures that await you if you choose to take advantage of these opportunities.
With less than a month before final exams begin here at Hinds CC, I thought I would blog about the end-of-the- semester blues. Any student out there knows exactly what I am talking about. The semester is coming to an end soon, and the motivation is just not there like it was at the beginning of the semester.
Beemon Hall is the location for everything science related here at Hinds Community College. Whether it is Principles or General, there are various science selections available to all students.
Although learning about all-things science related could be challenging, the instructors tend to make it a little fun. Einna Robinson is a Biology lab instructor here at Hinds, and she makes learning the complexity of life interesting.
Hinds Community College has been fortunate to have the support of some fine folks over the years. Over the last few weeks, two stellar men who were former members of the college’s Board of Trustees have passed away while another is leaving the public life.
