In the first two seasons as head women’s basketball coach at Hinds Community College's Utica Campus, Tomekia Reed has made a tremendous impact on the women’s basketball program. In the prior eight years before Reed, the women’s basketball program had only won four total games. In Reed’s first two seasons, she has already accumulated 31 wins including 21 wins last season and led Hinds to its first ever appearance in the regional championship in 2017. Ethan Daily graduated from Hinds this past May and is moving on to continue his education and baseball career as a left-handed pitcher at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock.
