Homecoming festivities Sept. 22 on the Raymond Campus brought the community, alumni and current students together to celebrate our college. Alumni Awards Winners and Sports Hall of Famers made their way to the field, followed by a performance by alumni Hi Steppers backed by the Hinds Eagle Band. The 2016 Homecoming Court entered the field and the Homecoming Queen was crowned.
Latashanna Ransom, of Laurel, was crowned homecoming queen. She is the daughter of Natalie Amos and Cortias Nixon and is a graduate of Laurel High School. She is a sophomore studying Broadcast Journalism on the Raymond Campus. She was escorted by Casey Larry, also a sophomore at the Raymond Campus.
