On April 29, 30 students of the Utica Campus Student Support Services (SSS) visited Pigeon Forge, Tenn., for the 2015-2016 Cultural Enrichment trip. This location was chosen to allow students to enjoy the beauties of nature and cabin life while having the opportunity to bond with each other while making lasting memories.

Recently, 21 STEM students from the Utica Campus visited the United States Capital in Washington, D.C. The purpose of the visit was to attend the USA Science & Engineering Festival.
The fourth USA Science & Engineering Festival, the largest and only NATIONAL science festival, featured nationwide contests and school programs, including the popular 'Nifty Fifty' science speaker program and X-STEM Symposium.
As academic dean, I was privileged to make the trip with our students. The Festival culminated with a Grand Finale Expo on April 16-17. More than 350K+ attendees celebrated science at the Expo and engaged in activities with some of the biggest names in STEM.
